Manchester Providers move towards a Joint Commitment for Apprenticeships when working with SMEs

Updated: Jul 20, 2018

In order to address two main issues around consistency of message and quality of approach, SME GAP and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority brought together 20 representatives from Business Support Organisations, Local Authorities and Training Providers in GM for a facilitated workshop to identify good practice and agree a Joint Commitment that all organisations could agree to.

‘’We will work together to make apprenticeships simpler to understand through clear and consistent advice enabling more employers to access high quality apprentices and giving them the best chance to grow their business.”

The output of the day is currently being written up and will be presented soon.
